| 9Support | 1-on-1 consulting and customer support | Case info · Notes · Follow-up |
| 9Social | Networking, mixers, social roundtables | Tables · Profiles · Topics |
| 9Community | Town halls, community events | Stage · Bulletin board · Polls |
| 9World | Mega multi-room events, event maps | Room map · Zone stages |
5.2. The shared module system
Composable building blocks reused across every room type: Chat · Polls · Quiz · Products · Whiteboard · Documents/Files · Shared notes · Recording · Attendance · Q&A · AI summary.
5.3. The four layers of a Room
Every Room, regardless of type, is composed of four layers:
- People — roles, permissions, durable membership.
- Media — real-time video/audio.
- Modules — capabilities attached on demand.
- Workflow — sessions, recordings, summaries, analytics; data stays in the Room.
9Zoom's breadth comes from reusing one shared foundation — not from rebuilding nine products from scratch. (Current status of each room type: see the Honesty boundary.)
