13.1. Messaging pillars
- Unification: "One Room. Any Experience." — replace many tools with one foundation.
- Sovereignty: "On your own infrastructure." — data sovereignty, no per-minute fees.
- For everyone: "In your language, within your reach." — local-first (genuine localization in every market), low cost, accessible.
- Honesty & quality: a product that tells the truth, does the work, and looks professional.
13.2. Tone of voice
- Professional, modern, credible — yet warm and approachable for small users.
- No hype; prefer evidence and real user stories.
- Natural native language in EVERY locale (no market favored), no stiff translations; technical terms explained plainly.
13.3. What to derive from this document
| Content deliverable | Source |
|---|---|
| Website | Room OS · Nine room types · Users |
| Fundraising/partner deck | [Summary] · Context · Business · Roadmap · KPIs |
| Sales materials | Positioning & model · Personas |
| User onboarding | Nine room types · The 5-step journey |
| ESG/impact materials | Social impact · KPIs |
| Company culture docs | Values & principles |
13.4. Writing prohibitions
- Never present features in the "in development / vision" group as if they exist (see the Honesty boundary).
- Never publish user/impact numbers that have not been measured (see Measuring impact).
- Never make misleading comparisons or disparage competitors; comparisons must be fair and verifiable.
13.5. Standard glossary
| Term | Standard meaning |
|---|---|
| Room | A persistent digital space; not synonymous with "a call" |
| Room OS | The platform thesis — one shared component system for every room type |
| Session | One occurrence inside a Room (a meeting/class/live session) |
| Module | A composable capability (chat, quiz, polls…) |
| Self-host | Operating media/data infrastructure on servers the user controls |
| Local-first | Prioritizing each market's own language in experience design; English is not the default |
